Chris Bradley leads on Transformation Programme Design & Development, helping senior clients to improve the efficiency, performance and quality of operations. He brings a blend of insightful analytics, emotional intelligence, and pragmatism to help his clients get the most from their services. He has over 15 years of management consultancy experience, delivering results for clients in the public sector, particularly NHS providers, commissioners and central government organisations. He has led culture-change initiatives in multi-disciplinary environments across many clients.
Chris has undertaken research, developed solutions, and led performance improvement projects along the urgent and emergency care pathway, from A&E through to community and social care. His clients have reported significant increases in 4-hour performance, both at a Trust and regional level, during and following the work. His ‘Ready to Go’ article, published in the HSJ, and ‘Flow is King’ presentation at NHS Confed 2018 have provided the basis of 2020 Delivery’s proven Rapid Improvement methodology, which delivers results quickly and sustainably.
He has also applied the same methodology to transform both elective and hospital administration pathways, seeking to maximise the efficiency and minimise waste to improve services for patients and staff. For commissioners, he has led out-of-hospital strategy development, and provided financial modelling input to hospital reconfiguration consultations and strategic reviews based on local population needs. As well as supporting clients directly, he also shares his expertise through training and mentoring participants in our Capability Building programmes.
Before working at 2020 Delivery, Chris was a Director at BCL Consulting. Prior to that, he held consulting positions at Stroud & Company and Hagen. He started his career as an engineer at Crown Cork.
Chris holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering from Trinity College, Cambridge.
