As a junior doctor, Nicole Samuel has first-hand experience of the frontline of the NHS and is driven by this to bring about lasting change to public services in the UK.
Since joining 2020 Delivery, Nicole has worked on a Performance Transformation programme for an NHS Foundation Trust, looking at reducing the use of agency staff and leveraging existing digital packages. Following this she has been working closely with an internationally renowned clinical academic in the development of a strategic vision for a leading Academic Health Science Centre.
Prior to joining 2020 Delivery, Nicole worked with the Clinical Trials Unit of the Medical Research Council and completed a Medical Internship at McKinsey & Company. As part of the latter, she worked on an organisational redesign and development project for a large London CCG and supported the development of the strategic vision for a Medical Royal College.
She has a double first in Preclinical Medical Sciences and Biological Anthropology from Cambridge, and gained a Distinction in her MBBS at Imperial College London. Whilst at Imperial College London she was awarded the Cockburn Scholarship for her research essay on the impact of the Health and Social Care bill on the future of primary care.
